The Cougars had a 42-19 winner over Alief Taylor, at 1 p.m. Saturday at Rice. The Tigers (div two) would mark their 8th consecutive final appearance. They creamed the La Porte in the semis for the second straight season, winning 37-3. The Cougers (div one) after beating Beaumont West Brook 49-26 last week have reached the finals for the first time. K.C. Nlemchi had 245 yards and three touchdowns rushing. Nlemchi by the way has 2,162 yards and 25 TDs rushing this season, not bad for a junior eh? Katy and Cinco Ranch could both be Region III-5A champions by the end of this week.

Thank You!!!!

The members of the Conservative Slate would like to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of you who supported our campaign and voted for us in this year’s
Katy ISD School Board Election.

Though we did not win, we cannot begin to properly express our gratitude to all of our supporters who helped us in so many ways.

See the election results below. The vote counts were very close. It is clear that people are beginning to wake up to the many problems confronting the Katy Independent School District. We came very close in making positive changes in KISD.

Far from being over, with your help, fiscal conservatives who want to provide the best possible education for our children now have a very strong base to build upon in future elections.

Our heartfelt thanks and our warmest regards,

Kameron Searle
