When Shirley Jones refused to go nude for Playboy

Actress Shirley Jones refused to go nude for Playboy, her husband has revealed.

The 'Partridge Family' star had done a photo shoot for the magazine in which she showed her cleavage and legs in an 18th-century French-boudoir setting.

Hugh Hefner, the owner of Playboy had "passed on them (300 test shots) because he expected much more nudity," according to Jones' husband/manager, Marty Ingels.

However, 75-year-old Jones did not agree to the demand.

"Shirley said, 'Under no circumstances will I show more.' And I agree with her. I mean, come on!" the New York Post quoted Ingels as saying.

Playboy representatives have not made any comment on the issue.
